Ok, I know I don't drive my Marauder as much as I should, and with all the rain and sh-tty weather we've had up here, my Marauder has been locked away in the garage for far too long. Since the roads were dry, this afternoon I decided to park my fleet issued 05,170k, Taurus that reeks of ass sweat, cigars (thanks previous employee) and stale McDonald's and take out the Marauder to my afternoon calls. Man, what rush. Even though I never got over 75 mph, it felt good to have some power under my foot, tunes up loud, and a smile on my face for a change. I totally forgot where I was going, missed my exit on the expressway and really didn't give a crap that I was late for my afternoon meetings. It was great to drive it again. It's been parked for 4 hours and I'm still smiling. I wonder what work will think when they see a gas bill for hi-test. Oh well, let them fire me. Then I'll have more time to drive the Marauder.:cool4:

But if they fire you how will you afford the gas? At least its not almost $5 a gallon now...

I've lost count of the number of exits I've missed, intentionally or unintentionally, because I was in the far left lane with my right foot on the floor :)

Driving my Jeep in the winter is so anticlimactic, but it's better than having my rear wheels constantly spinning and wearing down my Nittos.

My marauder always brings a big smile to my face when I take the car cover off & take it out for a spin!

I do it 2-3 times a week usually in the same spot on my way to work.

Now that I have my huge snow tires on no more hitting triple digits a few times every day for me. :(

When I had my first Marauder, I was in the triples every time I was on the expressway. Now I'm 5 years older, and have to maintain a clean driving record for work (I get a company car)... I miss those days.... I've only had the new MM up to 85. Someday. Man, Someday. :burnout:
