I had a high stall Stallion torque converter installed in my car.

Is more oil required in the tranny then with the stock converter?

Thanks.

Usually less since the Stallion converter is a smaller diameter.;)

No. Why don't you check it?

You should consider installing a transmission pan with increased capacity, and also be aware that a high-stall converter will make more heat, which decreases the life of the fluid, so it should be changed more often.

Getting the deep transmission pan will allow for easier fluid changes since it has a drain plug compared to the stock pan which does not.

I change mine every 15k miles, about 5 quarts will drain out and put 5 fresh quarts of Mercon V in and keep on rolling.

with a new tc it will also have a drain, i guess if you really wanted you could drain that as well.
