Would anybody happen to know what is the Max Horsepower our motor stock with a supercharger can handle without blowing up?

450rwhp with 11.5-11.8 A/F and conservitive timing.
The block is good for 700-800. The internals are just made out of pressed pencil sharpener shavings.

we dont have a forged block, so i wouldnt really shoot for pushing those numbers on a stock block and forged internals.

ummm... no our block can hold A LOT of power, it's detonation that would kill the block, not power... it's not a 302 block that splits right down the middle.

Suki Speaks the truth!
I'm surprised my 347 isn't 2 173.5's yet.

:help:
Max horsepower for how long? .01 mile, 1/4 mile, 10 miles, 100,000 miles
There is a lot posted by Lidio here and on his site (http://Alternativeauto.com) .
I think the 450 hp number is a pretty good benchmark also.
I have had about 400 rwhp for 24,000 miles, this includes about 1000 miles on the road course. I would like more power, but the budget for a new motor is really thin right now.
