Well feeling good about the Marauder right now.

Yesterday pulled up next to a Dodge Charger RT and just straight stomped his ass. I used to always get beat by a guy in a Lime Green one (plate says limezilla) until I got my 4.10 gears and Tune. Now it's no contest with them. We live in the same area and work on the exact same street 35 miles south I just haven't been able to catch him at a light since I got the CAI, gears, and tune. When I do "IT'S ON".

Next step is to continue stepping up until I can stomp a SRT8 flat out. I can't wait to see limezilla on the way to work.

The one tonight on my way home from softball was just humorous, some Jit in a 1980's 280z. I know I shouldn't have wasted my time but he kept trying to pass and I just couldn't have it. Got to a light and just shut him up for good. Took the traction and OD off revved it to about 2k and just lit em up. Next light he wouldn't even look at me and he jsut pulled off like an old lady. I think his girlfriend was telling him to take her home.
Hmmmn I love the taste of rice

The only mods you have are the CAI, tune and gears? If so, the Charger kill was most impressive. Most have been a close race. Dont they run mid 14s stock?

Stats say around 14.30 1/4. I've never drag raced at the track.
I also have new KYB shocks, new bushings, and new airbags less than 9 months old. Then about 2 months ago got new axles installed w/the 4.10's along with a stock rebuild of the rear end except for the differential. I have barely any wheel-spin even after the 4.10's. Scott Beer sent me a tune for my car, made it feel like it was 2000lbs lighter.
I think maybe I was quicker off the line than the other driver.

What speed did you guys go up too? Around 90 - 95 MPH would simulate a whole 1/4 race....so to say. A little dangerous on the street though. :)

I pulled up when I saw I was almost at a hundred. Had him by about half a car length at that point.

You can see for about a half mile or more from the stop light. Don't normally play like that much unless I'm on 1 of our long bridges.

I have a few tracks within driving distance. I have gone and watched the races, rode in other cars but just have never actually hit the 1320 driving.

Man you spent the money on the mods you gotta hit the track! But, it will become addictive trying to go faster every time out....which means more mods! :)
