Okay, don't laugh (Gosh, I forget who I am talking to), but how exactly do you do a burn out. I know you hold the brake and hit the gas, but how can you do one without damaging anything! Is there a balance or something?:help:

You buy a Trilkogy and install it.... then you won't need the brakes...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHzjDMJgBrU

Hold the brake and floor the gas, let the rpm's get upto 3k let off the brake and keep the gas floored and you got a 75ft burnout.

You're going to damage at least the tires regardless of how you do it. :D
Several methods:
a) Place car in drive, OD off. left foot on brake (firmly, not hard). Apply throttle with right foot until tires start to spin. Apply more pedal. The car will also shift if you want to do a long one.
b) On a dampish surface, from a stop, click off the OD and mash the pedal
c) On a dry suface, from a stop, see above.
d) Roll the car at a very low speed and mat the pedal.
e) (This one will impress your friends). Roll the car at a very low speed, OD off. Shift into Neutral, rev the motor, anything over 2500 rpm, as revs lower to about 2000 rpm, simultaniously mat the pedal and slam the trans into gear. Now folks here will tell you that isn't good for the car. Don't listen, I've done it a bunch (and I have 197,000 miles on the car). I've done some pretty impressive "road markings" this way, upwards of 200 footers. Smooth, shiney road surfaces work best. Make sure you've got a good grip on the steering wheel also. Some people call this the neutral drop, I prefer to think of it as the poor man's high stall converter.

They don't call me "The Burnout Kid" for nothing
(Which is why I am going to need a new trans, rear end, and rear tires soon)
