I have a generator that had a sticky needle valve, freed it up with some carb cleaner. But my new neighbor said I should use a couple of cap fulls of Marvel Mystery oil, and I know it's been around since dirt but I forgot about it. Anybody using it "just curious" Or better yet anybody using it in the MM while it's sitting for the winter:cool:.

I've used Marvel Mystery Oil in my aircraft and auto engines since 1970--never had a sticky valve or dirty engine inside. The ony thing I can't say is how it will do in a high compression engine-- small a/c engines are low compression and the Ford engines I've used it in have not been over about 8-9 to one. It really did a nice job of keeping the upper engine well lubricated. I use it all the time instead of WD-40 type lubes--have kept a squealing generator going for 15,000 miles . That's all I know--take it for what it's worth

I've never heard a negative comment about that stuff, but have also never tried it.

I have used it for years, and use it in high compression big blocks. its great.
I use stabil for storage, but use MMO to revive long idle engines (barn finds etc,)
I have used it in EVERY internal combustion engine since my dad taught me about it. My Marauder internals are likely cleaner, by far, than without it. I highly recommend you use it.

Any auto supply, Ace Hardware, Wally World, etc--you can get in in any size from a 3 oz. squirt can to a 5 gallon can--not hard to find
