Help Please

Long story short I have the air ride compressor out and im waiting on one to arrive. My problem is I cannot manually raise the back end via-Compressed air. I turned the key on and attempt to fill air bags but no success I dont know how to trick the solenoid to open and allow air in. Any tips or advice would be great.

Did you try having someone sit in the car, this will activate the relay. There are some posts on how to get air in the system here. Anyway, if you pull your old unit apart, you will see the armature all crudded up, I have a post up on how to repair your old one, takes about an hour to clean up a bad one and make it good again..

Im in doubt that the compressor is actually bad....

Hello and thank you for reply. That is what I was trying to do when I removed the compressor but soon realized it was beyond repair the magnet inside was shattered probably due to water freezing or me tapping with a hammer. I found a member who is going to send me a used one but in the meantime I wanted to get the rear end up to try out my new cai. tried comp. air, key on, door shut ,me in the trunk lol. checked relay,switched with twin. car on. car off. any other suggestions.

Same thing happened to my compressor, The magnet broke into three pieces, so I epoxied it back into the housing.
The repair took longer than planned because I also did the Rich Long mod.
