Signal mirrors

Greetings all. If anyone is interested a company called Muth makes a replacement glass for our outside rearview mirrors that have a built in flashing turn signal. When you hit your turn signal a chevron flashes on the mirror surface. It comes in either amber or red. The price of the kit is varied based on heated mirrors or non heated. Also the price varies depending on who you buy it from. The web site is kmuth.com, here you can see the different kits with downloadable instructions. Check it out. I talked to them several months ago, and was told that the GM kit would not work on the MM. The site does not list the MM as having the mirror kits available!

Would'nt the mirrors for the 03 Grand Mark be the same thing? If not then I've been misinformed. I've placed my order so I will find out when I have them in my hands. Thanks, reddog

They make those mirrors here in Sheboygan, WI. Nice product, good company...

Just looked at their site. They list the same kit for the Crown Vic and the Grand Marquis, so I would think it would fit the MM...

Muth is a good outfit.I had problems with my old 98 Expedition's mirrors with the turn signals built in,the reflective coating behind the mirror deteriorated making the mirror appear as if it were covered with wrinkled Saran wrap. It was a common problem and after hearing Muth was replacing the mirror free of cost I contacted them last year. I received a new glass replacement withi nstallation instructions within a week at no cost to me.:up:
