ok ive tried everything and i can NOT get this god damn passengerside valve cover off. its retarted. ive loosened the motor mounts tried jackin the motor up, ive dropped the cross member down again. im pissed. ive read the Defyant post but theres no real help there.
DOES ANY ONE KNOW SOMETHING I DONT?

Pulling the cam cover is easy.

Hey Dave,
You think you could post the problems that you ran into and what you did to remedy them, I'm going to be attempting this job in the near future and I'm sure I'm gonna run into the same issues.

I can solve your problem. Send the new covers to me and I'll do all the cussing for you when I put them on my car.:D

When I swapped mine out I removed the right / passenger side motor mount bolt, put a 2x4 under the oil pan and jacked up the engine. It will twist towards the drivers side and you can remove the cam cover. Taking the cowl / wiper motor assy out makes it easier (you can cleanout all the crud in there) as will loosening / removing the EGR pipe.
