My wipers is only working on "full speed setting"
as you can see in the picture the control module is not looking good.
(the "trap door" was completely blocked with dirt)
So my question is since there is nothing wrong with the electric motor itself, can you buy only the module or you have to buy the complete wiper motor?
Maybe somebody have a working control module laying around, if so I'm interested to buy it.

Pull off that white silicone coating and clean the board with a tooth brush and some alcohol read good. Then when its dry, replace the silicone coating and reinstall the board to the motor and try it out without reinstalling the whole assembly. if its good, button it all back up and have a beer!!

Mine looked the same way. Did just what was written in other reply and worked perfect. Thanks to whoever posted the exact procedure with complete photos, sorry I cant remember who it was. I got tired of pulling the fuse. Btw. I have a new wiper motor on hand if someone really needs it.

I cleaned mine all out and it still didn't work. I had bought a brand new aftermarket wiper motor from AutoZone for $80 and once I read the control module repair thread I just put the new control modules on the old Ford motor and everything worked fine.

I will try that, hopefully it will to the job.
I really don't want to buy another complete wiper motor and pay core charge + extra expensive shipping to get a new electric motor that I don't need.
It would be great if they sold only the control module separately, but I guess they make more money selling the complete wiper motor.

If you need any help with getting a wiper motor cheap the cheapest one I have found is from a auto parts store here in the US for $80 US dollars. I could get one for you and then ship it to you.
Just swap the modules, put the new one on the Ford OEM wiper motor and tada wipers. I couldn't believe how long I went with mine being all crazy and then tried it and it worked. I was kinda pissed at myself lol.

ctrlraven thank you very much for your offer, I really wish I had checked back here first.
Because I just ordered a new Ford original wiper motor from a contact I have at Ken Smith Lincoln Mercury in New Jersey it cost me $154.
