Well I'm starting this thread because of what I've been hearing and reading on this site about Dennis Reinhart. I want to start by saying that there isn't a company out there that's has had a flawless track record or has never had a unsatisfied customer, thats just the nature of the business and there are some things you have control of and a lot of things that you don't, I've been working in the auto industry for almost 9 years now so I can say this from experience. I'm here to say that I've been dealing with Dennis for 2 years personally every since my first upgrade up til this day and I trust him and his work he has taken care of any issue I had and he always goes out of his way to take care of me. That even includes him towing my car for me when I didn't have the money to do it myself, he looks out for his customers the best way possible even if he's not making money from it and for that he has my respect. I hope that those people who are trying to slander his name and reputation could just begin to understand what it takes to run a business to both the good and the bad times. One man can't control everything but I sure if he could everyone would be satisfied

Not trying to get into the middle of this, but I live 2,200 miles away and Dennis has treated me well. He's gone the extra mile to make me happy more than once, in fact.
I also appreciate the items I've got for my Marauder from Zack over the years. Always found him helpful and easy to work with.
Anyway, just FWIW.

I was a puppet to this guy for years, and wrongfully so.
I have 5 years of making his life hell to go and maybe then we will be even.
Shouldnt have screwed your friend Dennis.
Well sir I'm nobodys puppet what I stated earlier is how I feel and if you have nothing better to do than trying to slander someone over the Internet then you need to grow up and get over what ever your issue is. You will probably cause yourself more problems anyway if you don't let this go

I am so glad I don't have an experiance good or bad to share. One thing I can say is not to many people waste time making up good or bad storries...having said that I'm sure I will not put my self in the position to find out.
You can see how this can affect a mans business?
For everones sake I hope no time is being wasted?

Sounds like a personal matter that is getting continually dragged into public light.
Nothing wrong with that either, its free speech. I hate the dealer I bought my car from and tell everyone I can to avoid it. Its on the dealer to provide better service so that customers like me do not appear again. Its business. Movies get bad reviews, protested, etc.
Its the market speaking, if you censor the market then welcome to China. If some has a problem with Dennis then let them speak their mind, lets Dennis reply and if its not resolved its not resolved. People have the right to know about vendors and about the businesses they give their money to. Its your money, you can spend it where ever. Its up to Dennis and the vendors to make the sale using their product, their history, and their reputation. And if someone cant see through the clouds of personal attacks or BS (not saying anything about the current situation, just in general) then they are probably not smart enough to be your customer in the first place.
But why do I bother making calm, logical points, when this forum is all bias and irrationality.

I have always had a great "in person" experience with Dennis and his employees.
They have always done solid work for me (not just because of a 325 mi trip home). And has always been fair in pricing.
Where else are you going for an entire package of goodies on a marauder, very few places specialize in a low production car. Its like art, making some of the pipes needed to make clean installations, each one may and probably is unique. I know my pipes are .
I read all the bad press before we really started doing business, and I still see Dennis as the one stop, to get it all done right. Who else has the full packages.
And I know what you'll say "but what about the wait", get used to it, no one stocks everything they sell, some parts just have to be made, and some ordered.. good things take time, I have had my car built with numerous visits, with happiness at the end of each visit!
My 2 cents

Dave is the bad guy for being 19, not having a lot of money and wanting a Supercharger he paid for and was promised to have in a few weeks at most.
Now Dave is a liar for posting in Vendor Review, stating the truth and being genuinely upset.
People, do you not see this as being a HUGE PROBLEM?
And he is also bad man for expecting his supercharger in full and on time. Dave your a bad man bad bad man :shake:

Gosh. I've had things mailed, drop shipped, the lot. And, I think I take the Long Distance award being in Nova Scotia (unless our friends in Hawaii chime in). Proximity has not resulted in poor service. It has not resulted in delayed information (ie tracking numbers). It has not resulted in anything less than a very professional business relationship, and one that goes above and beyond in many cases.
And, really, so what if someone asks a person to write a nice review if they have something positive to relate? That, too, is business. In fact, its good business. I should do it more often myself.
Who else, by the way, would have let me ship a freakin F-350 dually crew to their office, then looked after it, stored it, and even called in a friend from Ford when they thought it wasn't working right? C'mon, this thing is as big as a house, and I made him hold it for two months! To that point, what had I given him for business - a couple of tuners? Hardly Mr big spender, yet he helped me out anyway.
I'm really sorry that people have had bad experiences, more sorry sstill that they could not be adequately resolved. However, I think that these are things that should be remedied in person between the two parties. If as much time was spent trying to resolve the conflict by both parties as is spent posting here, we'd all be one big happy family again.
Just my 2c as well.

So wait all this is over a S/C kit that was ordered, then back ordered, then installed, but it was not polished? So then the vendor goes to have it polished and pays the difference? And then the customer decides to sell the kit after all said and done?
Wait...am I missing the problem?

Sooo... Ive tried to remain neutral in all of this, but i can honestly understand where Dave is coming from, being 19 and broke myself. Ive read both good and bad about DR and even considered getting a tune from him myself, but the bad reviews i read on here kept me from doing it. I think if someone is in the wrong then they should be called out on it. And while i am sure this thread will end up locked, i thought i'd put in my 2 cents before it was too late. Not much of a rant, but why not?

Yes.
The problem spans multiple customer all having the exact same bad experience, yet no where to voice their complaint w/o Moderation. This leads to more dis-satisfied customers.
KillJoy
I mean zero disrepect but I honestly do not see the problem. Was it a time thing? I cant find the thread in question.
All I found was that it took 5 months to install a SC and from what I read it was the wrong SC (non polished) so the vendor is taking it off and paying to have it polished.
I am not mechanic, but I had my brothers turbo installed on WRX, injectors, new intercooler, new hoses, and dyno tuned to perfection from a tuner in the area in 1 day.
Call me crazy but I think the vendor might have tried to take too many projects on at once, and lost the simple concept of First in First out.
