this kit is 95% complete, all that is needed is the correct belt because i was not sent the correct one when i purchased the kit. Reinhart sells this kit for $4,000, i will sell this to you for the new low Price of $3,000 shipped. this price is firm. the Vortech V3 is a self lubricated unit which means you will not have to tap your oil pan like with other vortech blowers. this is as the title says a NON intercooled kit which can get you in the upper 300s in the horse power department.

Dave;

I've been going over the two threads you initiated about your experience with the S/C kit you purchased.

It seems to me that you now have everything you need, and it's paid for.

Why not install it. Support, tuning are all offered as far as I can tell from the posts.

I have a NOVI kit and it runs great, for me at least.

I agree. Bolt it on and immediately go to your local dyno for a custom tune - the one that comes with the kit needs to be dialed in custom for your car after the install. Lot's of people will help with the install for free. You can also look at the photo essay of my noic kit install in DR's forum. I posted it up in mid-August. I tried to take pics and give tips to help others - esp. details not mentioned elsewhere and/or left out of the mustang instructions from the Mfr.

EDIT: I was just advised that DR accidentally deleted all posts back to March '08. Sorry.

I don't know much about superchargers so these questions might be dumb.

You say it's a non intercooled kit.. Can this be converted to being intercooled?

And is this one of those "whistler" type superchargers that announce your beastly presence with an awesome whistling noise even at low rpms?

Thanks.

yes the the kit could be converted and no unfortunetly vortechs really dont make much noise

It is a good kit and a good blower. Install it, you will not be disapointed. Plus you own it.
