I thought that it was ".... always easier to obtain forgiveness than to ask permission." The other side of this issue is that we are probably flying under their radar at the moment ... if someone contacts them, then we'll will be in their gunsights. If I had a choice and a say in the matter, I would recommend letting THEM make the first move and deal with it then. Why open a can of worms that might not need opening. JMHO.

Mercury division will be shut down soon. Ford has bigger problems. Why would they come down on a Ford product FAN site?
