Ok...I installed my new 18" X 8.5" Ford, Black Bullitt wheels... the fronts had to have 1/4" spacers... after installation ... had a wobble in the steering wheel at about 45 MPH and up... re-balanced wheels... no help...
Ordered new 5 mm spacers (just wanted more threads in the lugs...)
They worked and cleared the brake calipers just fine...
now for the surprise... NO WOBBLE...!!!!:D:D:D:D:D
I really believe that the thiner spacer allows the wheel to sit on the center hub again... with a 1/4" spacer the wheel doesn't reach the center hub...These spacers are on ebay and are "hub centric" offered by "Wheeladapters"...$49.00...
Also front tires are brand new stock BFG's and on the rear are brand new Michelin, Pilot, XSE P255 / 55 R18...
No problems with Traction Control...:D
Sure hope I'm trough fooling with this now... it's been a pain...:mad2:

If you do the blacked out trim with the 3M tape... do a search here...
the rolls will do several cars and the stuffs expensive so get some folks togethger to share the costs...and the tape...:D
Thanks, Architect
