 Couple weeks ago my oil pressure gauge light went out and a member advised me how to fix. Sounds simple enough. Will do over the holidays. New problem is the light in the dash for the fuel gauge is out. My question is how do you get to the light to replace it and does anyone know part number? Can you reach in the back of the dask and pull out or do you have to take the dash apart and if so anyone had this problem and can tell me how?

remove the radio first then the long trim piece that covers right under the radio it pops off easily then the small trim piece under the headlight switch the piece with the T/C switch and foot pedal stuff. under these pieces there are screws that hold the black plastic surround trim piece that the radio fits in and covers up the gauge pod assy. slowly pop it off after you get the 2 screws out from just above the gauges if you look from the floor up you will see them. After the surround is lose unplug the headlight switch wires tilt your steering wheel down all the way and work the plastic surround up and over the wheel. next you will see the gauge pod assy there are some screws around the perimiter remove them and the pod will just come out disconnect the wires on the back and there ya go. takes about 20 to 30 minutes to do very easy job.

You are aware that the factory oil pressure gauge is a fake, right? While you're taking the gauge pod apart anyway is a good time to replace it with the real working version.

the easy way to start is to pull off the small "dot matrix" trim to the left of the steering wheel, the one with the adjustable pedal button, and then the same one across the dash on the right side of the steering wheel, I dont thin you will need to remove the radio, but its been a while. Then I think there is a couple of screws on the trim under the dash, in front of the cluster that have to come out.

That should expose the bolts to the I/P cluster, remove those, pull out cluster, and on the back there is the twist sockets for the cluster.
