Thanks for the reminder, but in my opinion... it should be in first place!

I think that the 77-78 Trans Am should have made the list along w/ many others. The Marauder and GNX are really the only two that belong there.

hearkening back to the good ol' days, the mercury marauder is one of the few modern cars to appeal to the dark side. Based on the same panther platform that underpins countless crown vic police cars, the sight of one of these sends chills down the spine, and when you throw in the blacked-out windows, grille, headlights, taillights and pillars you end up with one spooky sled. There's a reason why the cia and the feds ordered up a bunch of marauders.

i had a question about ur car, first of all i was looking through the messages and i saw thatt ur car had 255/55/18 inch. wheels do you have a traction control button, and does it give you any problems. the tires that i have on mine are 245/45/18 and every time i try to go over 60 most of the time my traction sensor will go off at around that speed, so im going to get some other tires for it but im still shopping around for the best ones.

Thanks, hadn't seen that before. Sent the link to the wife. Her black MM with too-dark tint on the windows scares the drug-soaked rice-boys quite often.

There's a reason why the CIA and the Feds ordered up a bunch of Marauders.Maybe the CIA and the Feds called up Ford and told them what they wanted, so Ford built the MM specifically FOR them, and since they had to build a bunch to make it worthwhile, they sold the rest to us. That would certainly explain why there was no advertising, and why the car was quietly discontinued...
...or maybe I'm just an old coot with a bunch of crackpot theories.
