New Daily Driver

Well I picked up a new Daily Driver...a 03 300A, owned previously by Swiftsloth.

Keep in mind that BioDiesel is a drop in replacement for Petro-Diesel, so I dont have separate tanks and lines and other garbage that people hack up a perfectly good car to run fry grease in.

Damn! Wes that Mercedes' looks great!!! I have a '98 ML and interned at a local benz dealership over the summer and absolutely loved the old turbodiesels and yours has to be the best one I have seen, especially with those miles!

Thanks! Its a 10 footer, but I plan on driving it till she dies, so far there are no signs of that. Its not as bulletproof as the 5 Cylinder older ones (OM617 Turbo) but then again, Its not as slow either. You may read a little that the OM603 (used in the 86-87, and 90-91 SDLs) is prone to issues, earlier ones have head problems, later ones had rod bending issues. Fortunately, this one suffers from neither, and uses half a quart between the 5000 mile oil change interval.

I had a W123 300D that I restored and sold before I fell in love with the W126 Chassis.

I sold it to a guy in California who put a hacked Waste Veggie Oil kit in the car, never washed it, and it ended up getting totaled by a drunk driver while it was parked in front of his house.
