In another thread it was discussed on how to make a Marauder to AWD. Well that's all in fine with you wussy city folk, but we here in the country want real-man 4 wheel drive. Not only am I going to make it 4X4 I am also going to convert it into a pick-up.

Now I know a lot of you are saying; Gordon will never do anything to his Kenny Brown Marauder, and you're right that is why I am going to use Chris's Marauder. So not only will I have the only 4X4 pick-up Marauder, I will have the only KB 4X4 pick-up Marauder. But, you say that will take a lot of money to accomplish and you are right that is why I will be selling Chris's Firehawk and my Harley.

Well wish me luck!!!

That sounds like a great idea Haggis. Just purchase a old F-150 4x4 and Rich can weld the marauder exterior sheet metal to the frame. This can be done before your wife files separation papers. I could give you a hand. You will need a couple of pallbearers at your funeral. :flamer: Gordan since you are digging your own grave, why don't you sell the house and purchase one of these modernized homes in the next county. Think of all the money you would save http://www.citytv.com/images/yourcity-edmonton/May29_Still_Trailer_Parks.jpg

You know Gord, I was thinking about looking at a boat. An unrealistically expensive boat, and I thought since this in in the 'Community' forum, I though I'd share.

Never mind that I'm in one of two provinces that is completely land locked. I'm wondering if a 4X4 Marauder could handle pulling a really big boat. It would have to have a big gas tank, because the nearest ocean or sea is like 20 hours driving from here.

So, it makes perfect sense, being so land locked, to spend at least triple what my house is worth on a boat I might only use once a year because it is so difficult finding enough water near enough to me. Just as it makes perfect sense to make everyone else read this post and bore them to death in the process.

What kind of motor and transmission should be in this boat? What kind of boat does General O'Neal have? Does he get these coffee stains on the walls as well? Shhhh! I think someone is watching me.

First off I do not work in a hospital and Chris wont mind me selling the Firehawk or turning her Marauder into a 4X4 pu.

Sounds good Rich, I can expect you the first weekend of the new year.

Merc, that aint no doublewide!!!!

Glenn, let me know when you purchase your Yacht and I'll be there to tow her to water.

Everyone, I forgot to mention that I am going to convert it over to diesel or maybe Kerosene; will have to talk to Dom to see which is better.

I must admit I am trending toward the Marauder Boat concept. If the corvette boys can do it why can we.

Darn, those GM boys have some good ideas. I can see your Marauder concept boat at the next car show.

Jack it up good with huge tires...Like 'BigFoot'....

Let us know how it all works out with hundreds of posts and updates!

I am also curious as to how well it will pull a huge boat.

You are gonna need more than LUCK on this job. When Chris finds out about this idea --- it'll be another Shot Heard Round the World.

No to the 5 speed, I'm going to go with 3 on the tree. Wasn't that the C4 tranny?

Paul, I am going to turn the Explorer into a DUCK instead of a hovercraft, it will be a lot easier.

Glenn, O'Neil is spelled with two L's; O'Neill. There is an O'Neil with one 'L', but he has no sense of humor.

This whole 4x4 idea is a pretty decent idea. I do like the thought of a Cummins turbo diesel in a Marauder.

But what I really want is an amphibious Marauder.

Do you folks know of anyway to make a Marauder amphibious? That would REALLY show those snooty Subie owners who's cool!

Of course will need fold down trays in the seats so I could dine on a sandwich will being boated around by my chaffuer. Mmmmm.. I can almost taste the Grey Poupon dijon mustard!

If your planning a pick up what roll bar are you gonna design? You also need to add glasspack's and turndowns.

Gunrack in rear window?
"I can whistle dixie with my buttcheeks" bumper sticker might be hard to find nowadays.
Lighting?
Bull horns?

Give us some more details please.
