Thunderbolt told me he spotted a Black Marauder today being towed in Concord MA, on Rte.2 Eastbound.
No spoiler, no stickers, appeared stock...
Being towed by a normal Tow truck, NOT A FLATBED.
Front wheels were on the ground, rear was strapped up.
ANYONE HERE HAVING PROBLEMS??

Where has GoMifuni Rob (mike) been lately!?!?!
Yeah, that's mine. It's at Muzi Ford (where I bought it less than 2 months ago). I posted the problem in community discussion, but the Thread title doesn't really describe the problem anymore ("wouldn't start, then cut out when running").
Problem:
I go to start the car up and once I hit the brake (so that I can shift out of park) the engine dies. After several starts it stopped doing it and I was able to get it into drive, then the engine died when I hit the brake while driving down a windy road (lost power steering and power brakes at 40 mph in a corner). They're looking at it now, they don't know what the problem is.

Sorry to hear it was you....
But amazingly, FINALLY, we have a confirmed member sighting in the New England area lol.

Met up with him about 2 weeks back. He bought a lifted Jeep and is still trying to sell his MM. Doesnt need it anymore, and the truck is what he wanted/needed.
If you ever came out of that little hole called Worcester, you would know these things Tom. Try coming to the 99 every once and awhile, so you can pay me that dollar you own me.

YESSS!!!
Finally a confirmed sighting.
Did you wash it just before towing it? I didn't even see road salt on it...jeez.
Next time call a flatbed!!!
It was filthy the last time I saw it, but I put a coat of paint sealer and two coats of wax on it when I bought it so it is shiny. I wasn't in charge of the towing operation, it broke down at my parents' house (while my sister was driving it, or trying to start it rather)
The problem ended up being the Idle Air Control Motor and this happened less than a week after putting in the K&N intake kit. Think this could be related?

I am not a mechanic in any way/shape/form, but is it possible the k&n made it run lean, and the IAC was trying to correct for the added flow? I know a bit about the IAC...I thought mine was toast in my ranger project.
how many miles?

All the IAC does is trim idle speed and act as a throttle follower. It's self learning and self adjusting. The K&N wouldn't have anything to do w/ the IAC.
Ok, thanks VicsEvilBrother! I'll put the K&N right back in once I get it back from the dealer. But in regards to Thunderbolt's remarks, is it possible that it runs lean with the Lidio tune and the K&N intake, or is the A/F ratio still flexible even after an XCal tune? It has 53,000 miles on it.
