Back in the day, when custom cam covers were first done we purchased new ones, did them to our taste and after the install used the pass along route to make them available to the next Marauderer who wanted to theirs. Most of us even paid the freight to ship them and the recipient did the same when their project was completed. We did the same with Calipers and other stuff. This is not the only way that the MM.Net site was a lot better...back in those better days. I have lost track of mine over the past 3 plus years but they are still out there along with other sets of FREE pass a longs. I hope that everyone who needs cam covers to mod will find them. Dennis

I got the help of a member a couple of years ago, Kevin - AzMarauder... It was part of the original plan to always have a set of covers floating around so we can bling-up our rides. Unfortunately, they didn't work out but I will pay shipping for any member who wants to get a set into rotation. That's the least I can do to help with the process. It's a great resource to have...

Hey Dennis, I passed yours to another member here, so they are still making their rounds. I'm quite sure if someone posted a request for them, they would resurface.

Zack,I figured if anybody would know ,you would.Would I have any problems with my valve covers and timing chain cover warping from the heat used in baking on the powder coating?
I'd like to do mine in silver sometime cause all the corrosion from 4 winters of road salt has then so nasty looking I'm embarrassed to open the hood.

You wont have any warping problems.
If you want to avoid corrosion, spray the cover with wd 40 once a month.

Powder coating Bakes to like 350-400. Well under the melting point of the metal

Thanks, these suckers are already pretty darn corroded as it was a DD before I got the car last January and I used it for a DD all last winter too. This winter it's been locked down in the garage since the first snow and only been out twice after the snow was melted and gone and all the streets were clean and free of salt. But I'll bear it in mind about the WD40.
I don't want a show car but I'd like to keep it looking nice and still drive the wheels off it when there's no snow or salt.
