+1, I've tried other plugs and have gone back to the OEM.

Just curious, what led you to think you needed to replace your wires?

We have wires on our cars real pain though to change that harness assembly out though lol.
Well, I was asking this question for my brother. I thought the spark plugs connect to wires because that's what they're called on my car. Opps. I know I need to replace the spark plugs, so I figured might as well replace the "wires" which are actually coil packs.

Tell your brother to read up on changing the plugs in his car,if not done properly he can end up puking a spark plug a couple thousand miles later and losing all the threads in that hole.
P.s. Tell him anti seize is his friend

I'm going to travel out on the limb here and state:
Technically, we do have "wires" the connection between the coil pack and the plug.

These are the units I have on mine. They replaced the wire "spring" like connector that is on the plug.
I found that, try as I may, my factory connectors stretched out and were unusable after wards.

NKG TR55's are the stock heat range, cheap, and are alot better than the motorcraft ones.

I know I need to replace the spark plugs, so I figured might as well replace the "wires" which are actually coil packs. No need to arbitrarily replace a COP unless one is obviously bad. They don't deteriorate and break down like old-fashioned wires.
Also, if you've never done plugs on an aluminium-head motor, be VERY careful. Make sure the motor is cold before you do anything. Be very sure the new plugs are started by hand, and use anti-seize VERY sparingly (if at all). Use a torque wrench or you stand an excellent chance of ruining the threads.
Wow! thank you guys for the information. Trully appreciate it.
