help my rear end is coming apart

i have had the axles replaced in my car several times. the last time ford replaced the housing and axles along with internals. well the rear end started making this god awful noise. i called ford to see if it was still covered they said no. so i jacked the car up and the noise is coming from the pumpkin. it sounds totaled. has anyone taken the axles out along with the internals. any help is greatly appreiciated thanks george. my e-mail is geo737mech@aol.com

Disassembling the rear end is easy. Putting it back together with the measurements being correct is another story. I would try to see if there are any Mustang mod places in your area that can help in overhauling the rear end.

Then you can upgrade to 31 spline axles...

Yes I have had it apart, no I would not recommend setting it back up unless you have another car to daily drive and very good mechanical skills
