So! As some are aware I joined the ranks of the unemployed a couple of months ago. I had been sidetracked by my Marauder and let my interest in my Crown Vic wane. The honey-do list was starting to drive me nuts. I decided I needed a project besides looking for a job. I had parts laying around for two years and decided it was time to get after it. I spent the last week installing a T45 5-speed in the Crown and I have to say that this is THE best project for a big car.

Mustang clutch tube welded to the Crown Vic pedal assembly. I tried using the Mustang assy. but it was causing too many problems. This appears to be the quick and easy way. There have been several of these mods done on CVN but I think this is the best and quickest way to do it. The pedal assy. is the main headache. The trans. installation is normal routine with some small modifications to the crossmember. My '93 is the earliest Panther that I'm aware of and a member in Canada has done an '04 with a few other members cars in between. This why I personally feel that putting a 6-speed in a Marauder would be no big deal. But this my opinion others may disagree.

That I can do!
It's better than swapping to the Focus pedal ass.
This might retain the pedal height adjustment.
The T56 conversion is one step closer for my MM!

The 6 speed was equally easy, really. Couple of little bugs, but nothing serious. Glad you are enjoying it!

Sweet I would love that just not for daily driving in Tampa Bay Area traffic.
