Patrick,

Short answer to your question: You're probably not going to find any stock replacements. BFG has them on indefinite backorder.

Suggest you try search, or better yet, the mymarausder wiki for posts on aftermarket replacements. Most guys are running 255/55/18s from various manufacturers.

Key point in speed rating, want to go with at least a V rating.

Get yourself a pair of Nitto 420S in 255/55/18 and you'll love them. They mount right on your rims and they look great.

I hope BFG makes a run of them soon. My wife's car is gonna need replacements before too long and she's still running OEM tires.

Maybe I'll have to get another pair of rims widened so I can switch her over to Nitto's too. I really like the ones I'm running on my car.

If you go with 255/55/18 on th erear, would you still go with the OEM size for the front, or would you go with another size?

I've got the OEMs on the front of mine, works fine, no problems with the T/C or anything.

+1 I have these on my car and they are fantastic!

The grip is awesome! The only downside is it has abit more sidewall flex but any tire that's not the OEM is going to have abit more... the OEM's have a sidewall made of concrete...

did some reasearch called some tire shops most agreed that the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza 109w XL is my best bet. aperently it's just 10 bucks more then the NITTO's and have a verry stiff sidewall. also they have an all season tread design but are still rated at 240km/hr they compard them to the Nitto 420s and concluded it was higher quality and will last longer as well. they also noted that the Nitto's did have alot more sidewall flex.
found some reviews too. http://www.1010tires.com/tirereviews/Bridgestone_Dueler_HL_Alenza_t ire_reviews.html

I thought the Dueler series was for SUV's and light trucks. Do your tyre guys even know what a Marauder is?

he was going by size and speed rating, it is a tire used on a lot of high end suv's yes, but for a long lasting tire with a highspeed rating, it's supose to be a good choise, plus the stiff sidewall would be a bonus.

Personally I wouldn't use a tire made for a truck but perhaps your circumstances are different. Max performance tires are limited for the MM especially if you have traction control. Performance touring tires will give you more choices.
I've been trying to figure out how to get Michelin PS2 on our MM but the rear aspect ratios are to small and the overall tire dia. is thus to small and that will interfere with the TC.
Many members here like Nittos and a few like the Goodyear F1s. I personally do not like Goodyear but that's just me.
Try www.Tirerack.com (http://www.Tirerack.com) or www.Discounttire.com (http://www.Discounttire.com) for some options.

The words Goodyear and F1 used together scare heck out of me. 1975, Österreichring F1 practice and Mark Donohue.

Hey guys, I called BFG on Monday. They are making the 245 55 18 again. They had some production issues, but are now avail. You can find them on Tire Rack and other sites for about $165/. They are also making that size for the new Camero. Not KDWS, but same size.
Hope this helps.

No kidding. The "production issue" was that they made the tires backwards. I know because Discount Tire put them on my car. I think they knew they were defecto too. I had to call BFG to get them to call Discount Tire and have the proper tires put on. Pain in the butt.

Dave has a brand new pair he just bought in the fall, still in the plastic wrapping and stickers. He bumped up to widened rear rims so he has no use for them now. PM me for info, he's in Sweden right now but will be back soon.
