At Marauderville I met several nice folks from around Houston, and I know there are several more on this site who couldn't make it. How about having a Houston get together sometime?

Ross,

You let me know when and where and I'll be glad to get together with you. Maybe this time we will have more time to visit!
We can even talk about 1911's!
How's that?

Cool, Alan. It was great meeting you and your lady in Marauderville.

Same goes here, Ross. There was so much going on...we just really didn't get a chance to get much talkin' done. We'll fix that with a Houston area get together!

Sounds good. Wish I could have gone to Ennis, but had school.

There is a big ice house kind of place over on the West Belt called Whiskey Dick's. A lot of guys with pretty cool motorcycles come in there to show off their bikes. It might be cool to show up there with half a dozen MM's!

Guys-

I missed Ennis because I was in Orange, TX buying my new Marauder.

My crown vic was destroyed the weekend before last, but I guess it worked out for the best...I got my Marauder now!

We should do a cruise some Saturday night. I'm out in The Woodlands, but am willing to go anywhere in the Metro.

I know The Woodlands Car Club has a cruise every saturday night that begins at 7 or 730 over on the I45 feeder just north of the bowling alley at I45/Woodlands Parkway.

DeadVic,

I'm in The Woodlands, too! That makes 2 of us with Marauders out here. PM me.

Welcome aboard!

I live in Pearland and work behind Taste Of Texas (or sometimes in Corpus). Wiskey Dick's would be a great place to meet.

Anyone consider going out to Sealey or Baytown to run the 1/4?

Feel free to drop me a PM.

I didn't know there was a track in Sealy? But then, I'm just now getting into this go fast stuff.

Fantastic Idea...
I too couldn't break loose from my chores to get up to M'ville. I would love to meet the Raud owners from the Houston area.

I suggest Papas-on-the-Lake at Conroe. Big parking lot, familiy atmosphere something for the kids to do... and a bar.

Just name the time and place...

Gaylon,

Where do you live? If you want to meet in Conroe...you must live in the area.

Hello Guys!

I am also in the Houston Area.

It was a pleasure to meet you Alan and your wife. Although we couldnt talk for long, I appreciate the conversation and laughs. I live on Airtex, which is very close to the Woodlands. Maybe we could get together someday, and if you ever have any technical problems, just let me know. I would be more than glad to help you out.

John, hit me up when you can man. I want to buy some stuff that you have lying around for my Vic.

Thanks!

-Fern

Big Black Vic,

Good to meet you, too!
When we all get together...you've got to be there with that bad black Vic!

Ray, I'd certainly like to get together with you, Ross and other MM-heads in H-Town. I live real close to the Jones-Grant intersection, so anywhere in the NW would be cool. What say Sam's Boat at 1960 and 249 for a Friday afternoon beer? We could valet, and line ourselves up front for the crowd. How about this coming Friday after work (October 24th), say 5:00pm (ish)? Sound good?

Every Saturday night there is a small carshow at Otto's in the Fountains in Sugar Land. I went for the first time last week and there were a lot more people there than I've seen before. I was the only Marauder and there were two Impala's also. What about meeting there someday?

Count me in.

All we need is someone to take charge and make a decision on where and when. I'll be out of the country for the first 2 weeks of November.

I saw some of you guys in Ennis. I live in the SW area. I still have only seen three or four MM's in The Houston area. Whiskey Dick's is good for me any night from Thursday's to Sunday's.

Guy's, I've suggested a specific time, place and date, and got nothing much more than, how about this, and how about that.

This great notion of a thread was started by Ross on 9/22! So far it looks as if we'll all get togther in 2004 sometime.

No offense to you all, but for me, I'll be at Sam's at 1960 and 249 for happy hour on this Friday afternoon. My cell is 832-724-5140. See you there or not, or maybe at the Ford fun day in May of 2004!

Hopefully see you then H-town boys, Tim

PS. If not, suggest a specific time-date-place for an h-town MM get together.

Ray, et al,

Let's say 5 pm (or so) this Friday (10/24) at Sam's at 249 and 1960. If underage folks come along, we can shift to hooters or something.

Looking forward to seeing the h-town MM Boys.

Tim

I hear you Wes, but seriously, there's Hooters everywhere. For now, let's just stick with Sam's at 1960 and 249 and go from there. Looking forward to seeing you their on Friday if you can make it. Tim

Rats! I won't be able to make it to the meeting. I've got to work a football game Friday night. This is going to be a big one, so we need all the officers we can get.

Drink one for me, fellas!

It had to happen. My presence has been "requested" at a business dinner tomorrow night. One of those things where people really notice if you get together with your car buddies instead of coming to the business function. Friday night should be MINE!
