Foose marauder!!

I waited 6 hours, which I find to be reasonable, in line to meet Chip Foose today. When I got up to meet him, he asked me what I wanted him to draw and I obviously said a Marauder. Showed him a pic of my old car, and away he went.

It was quick but fascinating to watch him. He was talking to me the whole time and was honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. He went out of his way, sacraficing a 3 hour break, to draw and meet people from 1pm-8pm when I left.

Truely a master of what he does and a truely nice person.

BTW he said he always loved the Marauder name. He said,: Marauder? Always that was such an awesome name."

I believe it was his brother, Jeff, that was with him. He said he still could not stop watching him draw lol

I got to meet him too... really cool guy. He recently assisted in opening up COOL RIDEZ a build shop for kids making custom car models. I got a picture of him with my son in my album page/check it out. Also got a signature and requested he do a Foose Marauder sometime in the future.

I emailed his shop a few years back for wheel ideas for the Rauder and they never returned the email? Business must be to good.

Dave, the reason it took so long was because he did a drawing for EVERY person. Absolutely amazing.

I waited for about 3 hours for him last year at Autorama, in Detroit. Like everyone says, he's a great guy to meet, got my picture with him on myspace (http://www.myspace.com/svt_merc). He drew a roadster on a ford shirt for me.

6 hours imagine that I met him at the Detroit auto rama,He was standing right next to me when I was taking pics of a car he did for the Riddler award there.He asked what I thought of it we talked a bit then shook hands.Asked If I had a car there ,I told him I have my 1st car still and am presently but slowly redoing it,But it was not there its not done.He was curious that I still had my 1st one,then he got pulled away!Oh well.
