Dennis's car was a bit faster. I'll leave it to them to post the exact times.

Looking at the pictures, it seems to me that there were more than 2 blown MM. at Ennis, so I guessed that maybe just plain individual owners of s/c cars raced their cars, aside from the site sponsors....anyway I guess eventually the stories will be told.

I ran Friday and Saturday sans the S/C, but I thought my times were decent eight runs at 14.2x and two runs at 14.1x. One of my runs was against a Trilogy equipped car.
I thought these times were pretty good and my RT's were decent although I cut two lights trying to improve them. I hope I will be able to post my timeslips later.

Thanks. I did't want to drop below 14.0 or else I would have needed a helmet and I forgot mine at home! ;)

OH come on Marty!!PALEZE!
You would have drove right into the 13's if you had 1/2 a chance!
Truth was or man Marty ran true street and was shoting for a 14.0 average but it wasn't to be this time.
With more practice you'll be well into the 13's.
Get over to Raceway park in Freehoild NJ.before they close for the year, take your helmet you will be in the 13's!!!

SO where is all the news at the suspense is killing me! I hear the triolgy cars were all over the place getting the heck beat out of them and keeping local law enforcment busy! So how did the roots centrifugal battle go? the last thing I remember was zack telling jerry this
"Fear not Jerry, as I welcome the challenge in the Lone Star State!
Everything you say about your kit is absolutely true and believe me, I was overly impressed the way the car performed. If I ever buy a second Marauder, it will get your treatment. I CHALLENGE you to bring both cars to Texas. The bone stocker will be my first victim. If you bring the second, it had better be equipped with gears, converter, headers, exhaust, and whatever else you can conjure up for it ON A STOCK MOTOR WITH NO INTERNAL MODS. Then we shall see the true victor, swap war stories, and no, you cant buy me a Guiness, it'll kill my ET's."
I could barely get my nap in at work today wondering what happened! My money is on the roots cars making the cencentrifugal cars look silly! come on 60 plus mm'er in ennis and no war stories yet what gives?

Both cars ran well The Trilogy car ran low 13's all day long they had three cars there, I had one I ran the car full of gas and 150 pounds in the trunk I ran it twice I wanted the members to be able to look the car over, my best ET was high12's my cars transmission shift points were off do to the taller Nitto slicks this caused the car to shift below 6000 RPM having a direct effect on my ET, I will massage this and get some times from Gainesville as well, we all had a blast, I met Jerry he is a great guy and has a good product as well.

Just so you all know, Lance is just another one of the true gentlemen that turned out to represent MM.net at Ennis. He gave me some very vital driving instructions, thus sparing me from total embarrassment on my first trip down the strip. Lance also came in handy when the MO*RAUDER needed some attention in the pit.
Lance, you get yourself up here and we'll get down to NJ and you can help me get down into the 13's. K?

A heads up race between Reinhart Automotive and Trilogy Motorsports did not take place.

Sorry to disappoint you, Keyboard, but most of us were preoccupied in Marauderville with meeting and making new friends, as well as repairing some misunderstandings. I'm happy to report that the "Gladiators" did not face off, if what you want is a bloody battle to the death, get off your keyboard and into your MM, and get busy yourself.
Both Dennis Reinhart and Jerry Barnes are great men, very talented and due much respect for what they have developed for the Marauder. However, they are business men too, and there is a lot of development money at play here. The rest of us are fans, owners, and consumers. We can race for fun, but when Reinhart Automotive and Trilogy Motorsports race, it's business. Until that business comes to rest, pitting them against each other turns this into a circus, with unpleasant "Sharks vs. Jets" results.
I got a good dose of healthy friendship this weekend, and a long drive home to think about all of it. To be blunt, I'm tired of the challenges and the taunts that have permeated this site over the past few months, and I think it should stop. I know I participated in it myself, but I'm back from Marauderville with a new perspective, and I hope to spread that around.
To think that I could drive my MM 1000 miles and stay in the same motel with a brother owner who also drove the same car 1000 miles, just to trade glares, is wrong headed thinking. This "us. vs. them" is upside down. If there is a contest, it's man over machine, not man to man.
This weekend was filled with good stuff. A line of MMs in transit, all pulling over when one has a problem, and REFUSING to go on until that problem is resolved. A bunch of guys from the four corners of the country grouped around an MM, correcting pulleys, changing injectors, rerouting wires. Friends teaching friends how to run their first 1/4 mile race, and more friends cheering them on. Grandpas and kids, all talking Marauderspeak. This is what went on in Marauderville, sorry we didn't have time to slash tires.
The difference between centrifugal and roots superchargers is a classic and neverending argument. The concept of forced induction is older than dirt. The centrifugal concept dates back to the 1930's, and the roots concept dates back to the 1950's How Dennis and Jerry have bolted their kits together under the MM hood is interesting stuff, but neither have developed any new technology within the science as it stands today. Watching them beat each other's brains out for some kind of foolish "market supremacy" is folly I'm not interested in reading about here.
I'll race anyone who wants to race, for the fun of it, but not when the outcome will be a reflection on Kenny Brown's spin on supercharging. Owning an MM is an experience you can't have until you own one. The fun and friendship wasn't on the sticker, but it seems the best of all option ever. I hope to exploit that option, and I hope this is the last I read of who kick who's azz. Never again will I glare at a brother owner, and I hope to never see that glare again. Y'all wake up too, eh?
Just my .02c, if you want to argue, write me at SergntMac@aol.com

I couldnt agree more. The "Supercharger Wars" are a dead issue. The bottom line is each setup is just a different way to get the the same result, that result being 0-60 performance that is truely staggering! The feel of each under WOT is slightly different, but both are FAST. I am happy with my setup, it beat an 03 Cobra and a new Vette on the freeway during my trip. Last thing I am going to say is do your research and decide which is best for you. Logan seemed impressed with mine, in that all that was done to mine was the blower, and how fast it pulled with just that done. Have fun with your Marauder, I do!

Dennis
What kind of tires (rear wheels) are you using on the blue Marauder that you advertise that does 12.36 seconds in the 1/4 mile and has 450 RWHP?
Does your rear sway bar that you sell increase the harshness of the ride? With the tires I have now, it is already harsh.

Under what conditions did you beat the cobra? Since according to the stats the 390 hp stock cobra has very nearly the stats as your car and my car. (I don't have my car's stats at my finger tips, but I think they are close to your numbers.?
What brand, model and exact size rear tires are you using?
Was it a 0 to 60 mph or a take off from say 40 mph to 100 mph.

Since I am the one that originated this post I want to make clear (as much as it is possible in this medium) what I was hoping to get from my original questions. I noticed by looking at pictures of the event as it was unfolding that there were about 6 to 8 s/c MM. present in Ennis ( I may have counted the same car twice) anyways I assume that cars belong to "individuals" that maybe raced their cars that great weekend. I could not be there, much to my regret, so I really wanted to know what the times were and the type of blower used and maybe whether the stock tires were used or some other set-up. I have no interest in inflaming passions here that some may have over which site sponsor offers a better product. BETTER is in the eye of the beholder and that is not the purpose of "my questions". This forum is about sharing, and those lucky ones that went to Ennis shared something special that cannot be duplicated online. I just wanted to know how the cars ran.

Probably an older Cobra. Didn't have 390 HP until 2003.
I got to drive both cars (Trilogy & Reinhart) and they were both awsome. They did however feel different but regardless you can't lose with with either one. If you're on the fence choice the scientific way. Pick which one you think looks cooler.

Martyo ran great stock times and will really clip them as he enhances the build of his MM. I was running the DR Stage 1 package and 75 hp boost with a Zex wet kit, and ran 13.7's all day Saturday. That having been said, the weekend was a blast, and meeting all the other MM "addicts" from around the country was the real highlight of the weekend. I cna't wait 'till I can give Dennis enough money to do what I REALLY want to do with the car!
