i know this qust. been asked 100s of times but i looked
through the tire posts but theres just to many so hears goes
whats the bigest rear tires i can put on my mm without wideing
the rims??

255/55/18. You best bet. Im pretty sure 265's would bulge too much and may be unsafe.

Seems like we have discussed this before...IIRC the catch is that some places will refuse to mount them for you.
If trash runs them and has no problem, I believe him. I can vouch for the 255/55/18 from personal experience. The work fine and will not cause you issues with traction control circuit.

It cost me $70 to have them mounted, and balanced.

Any speedometer issues with these? Are they easier to find than our stock 245's?

I did Goodyear GSD3's at 255/50/18's. Thats pushing it on an 8 inch rim. I put those upfront and did 295/50/18's on 9.5 " rims in the rear. Stan
