Ac/ heat blower motor out!!

A week ago my blower motor for the ac went out on me. I checked the usual things fuses,relays even hit it with a rubber hammer. (shes okay i wouldn't hurt my baby.) Well i thought it must me the motor then, not the case at all. I installed the motor..... nothing:(. I called a buddy and found out is not getting a good ground. So we"make" one. Now it comes on but will not turn off and the motor speed will not adjust. My snap-on dealer says its the "temputure control unit". Is this true or am I going the wrong way with this. Thats for the help guys.

CHeck the above links - BCM = Blower Control Module - I have a spare in my garage but they are not that much from the local dealer. Same part for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury

ITs the little module that controls the voltage to the unit. Very easy fix and cheap too.

that same thing happened to my DTM. Dealer charged me almost $300 to fix.

Search isn't always your friend...I did a search before I took pictures of my install the other night and found no posts with pics in them so thats why I took them.Have you ever tryed to search for a post and you know exactly what the title is and it don't come up I have...lots of times.:confused:

Seems like when they revamped the site a lot of old thread material went away or got harder to find. I also have run into this a couple of times. I realize that memory space is not unlimited so we just got to roll with it.
