Finally looking to pull the trigger...what will $10k get me??

I'm in the process of selling my WS6 and I'm finally going to get myself into a Marauder. The original plan was to buy a C5 Z06 but I have a few debts to pay first, so I decided to get my ideal daily driver and save for the Vette.

What will $10k get me? That'll be my absolute MAX right now. I found one I'd kill for on e-bay but I can't buy it until my car's gone, so I'm probably going to miss that one.

That particular one is stock, looks great, has 96k on it, and buy it now is $8999. Is this a freak or are these deals available? Because that'd be my ideal buy, under 100k miles for $9k-10k.

So what's out there?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!:beer:

these deals are getting more and more popular. for that price, your car might have a few dings or scratches, maybe a hole in the seat or something...but nothing that would detract from it being a good looking, good running car.

For 10,xxx you should be able to get you a pretty nice one but its gonna have some miles on it proably somewhere around 115,000 to 130,000 thats from what I have been seing ck auto trader there was a bunch in there lat week! Lower miles more$$$

That's the one I'm talking about, it's not even that far from me. I'd be all over it if my car were already gone. Unfortunately I'll probably miss this one, which is why I wanted to ask if all you guys here think there will be more like this...

Go Mifuni is selling his 03 black for $8500. There is an ad in the classifieds.

The car has a few basic mods, overall in good conditon for the mileage.

I've said it in other threads, you will NOT find a better car for the money. It's in central mass, so probably 6 hours or so from you, depending on where in NJ you're at.

I've driven, inspected, and done some minor work on his car. I, along with any other MassMarauder can attest that the car is loved.

Yep, I'm in contact with him. It's a little over the mileage I originally wanted, but once my car goes I told him I'm going to get in touch with him, provided he still has it of course. It does sound like a sweet ride though. I may wind up going for it.

You'll find one. Took me 2 years after they came out for me to get in my first, then 3 years after that one went bye bye to get into my 2nd, you'll find one, do not dispair. That sounds like a plan! There's actually a meet I go to every week, but it's just a bunch of friends of mine with F-body's mostly. I know offroadkarter is right near me, been talking to him since I joined. I can't wait to get my hands on one, it'll be nice to attend some meets with my own car!

Plus, I like the blue...but to me there's only one color for a Marauder.:D

Honestly though I'd only take either black or red, in that order. The blue and silver are nice colors, but in my opinion there are already too many crown vic's and grand marquis' running around in those colors. There are black and red ones too, but not nearly as many...around me anyway.
