Having finally settled into the new house (from last March) and getting the basement office organized, I am clearing out all of my old magazines after all these years of collecting. I have either single issues of the odd type, or a couple of years running (from subscriptions) to the following (just to name a few):
Car & Driver, Road & Track, Motor Trend
Cycle World, Cycle Canada, MotorCyclist, Cycle and Cycle Guide
Various Ford publications - Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, Mustang Monthly
Various other manufacturers - VW (from my Rabbit days), Pontiac, Mopar
Miscellaneous publications ;) are also available to one degree or another.
The Magazines are boxed according to type and by year for easy referencing and locating. They have been in basement storage for many years, with some going back to 1978 for individual issues, and most subscription cases starting in the mid/late 1980's. Magazine condition is to be considered good to excellent, with little to no dog-eared pages (I've always been that way even with my paperbacks), and bookstore shelf quality (like new).
The boxes are standard Automated Record Storage size and hold approximately 100 magazines per box. I have 12-15 boxes to find new homes for.
