This was a weekend to remember for Jean and I.
I don't know what to say, but thanks to all. This is the best way to say THANKS!
Jean has been to the doctor and yes she feels that she had a small blood stoppage and that they will get her fixed. She was fine coming home just a little tired the last part of the trip.
I feel so bad that some of you had trouble on your way back home. That put a cloud over the weekend, But it also show's the type of people that you all are by showing you cocerns for each other. I hope that we all can stay and become friends for life. I know that I have found some great new friends. You all have pulled togther when someone needed help and that show's what you are made of.
This has been a weekend that I will not for get. Jean and I had a great time nad there is just not word's that can say what we feel. I am very glade to have been able to help put this togther for us.
Thanks Bob and Jean :) ;)

Bob & Jean,

You two are the BEST! Frankly, I was not shocked with how the weekend went...I knew you both would do it. And you both did...in spades. None of this would have happened without your tireless work and dedication...and for that, I am very grateful to both of you.

I'm proud to call you both my friends.

Just a note to all you great Marauder enthusiasts from Fun ford Weekend. You people are super and added alot to our program. It was great being able to say hello to a few of you and to put a face to a name. Again, thank's for participating and you know you will be welcome to attend any of our events, anytime you have the time to come by and visit. We have posted our 2004 schedule (tentative) on the funfordevents.com site, so when the FFW circus comes through your town, feel free to join us. Party, party.

PS: Sorry the parade didn't run down the track but I told Bob that they just finished spraying the entire track with VHT, and that stuff is tough to get off the paint. I had wished that there were more people in the stands for the parade, but I guess the rain scared them off until later in the day. Total attendance for the 3-days was about 26,000 with over 900 participants, in all classes, the car show, and you guys.

PPS: Special thanks to Bob, Jean and Logan. You guys did it.

Bob and Jean,

You guys are the best! All I can do is echo what martyo and TAF have already said. My wife and I are eternally grateful for your dedication and enthusiasm. Despite all that was going on in your lives personally...you always cared about how much fun we were having. That speaks volumes about your character.

Much love from Texas!

Hey George, I passed you by about a hundred times and we always said "hey" to each other but I did not know that that was "you." Sorry I didn't introduce myself to you formally. Thanks for all your help. I loved the Accufab booth too.

Hope to see you again soon!

Bob and Jean,

There's no need to thank us at all. We are indebted to you greatly, for if it wasn't for your hard work, dedication, and non-stop persistance to make this happen, I and others would have never had the time of our lives that we had. Just to be able to see and talk with all the people I've chatted with on here over the past year blew me away. Anyone and everyone I met was as nice as could be. It was like seeing a long lost brother for the first time. There was never any kind of difficulty in getting to know one another, we were just there, and had a blast together. We truely are one big happy MM family, and you two gave us the opprotunity to come together. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I can not wait until we can see each other again! If there is ANYTHING I can do to help things on your end, you let me know! K? Thank you again you two!

thanks bob and jean.

a quick anecdote:

on friday at the hotel after everyone showed up i saw bob in the parking lot.
"hey bob, is everything going as expected?"

i saw bob trying to figure out the right words to say but nothing came out. after a second i answer my question

"better then expected, eh?"

the man was quite literally speechless.

when the turn out stuns the organizer i think thats a good thing.

Everything Rick (LML) posts here echoes my sentiment. "What he said^."

Where did we find this bright young man? Sandals or not, Rick "fits" here. Just don't expect to see him driveing my MM wearing sandals, K?

However, Rick does not conclude my feelings, my feelings just begin with him. I hope to never conclude them.

I wlll see you Bob, and Jean, next year ay Bristol, and we will laugh as loud as we have.

Maybe that's the root of concern here? Perhaps Jean laughed too loud too much? Too bad if she did, next year we will address that. Laughing out loud will not be permitted.

Yeah right...
