Marauder ZIPPO's

A lot of people expressed great enthusiasm when sd8683 proposed having a batch of ZIPPO's made, yet when he announced they were in... not many replys/responses to it. Do this guy a solid and get with him if you said you wanted one, we shouldn't leave him hanging with the bill after he did this for "us". Tomorrow is payday Friday for lot's of us, and W-2's are out so you know your tax rebate is a-comin', hook him up. The one time I saw one of these on e-bay, it was out of my price range, from sd it is within it! I gather the posters and the jacket and the DVD and all the other stuff so when I (God forbid) ever sell the Marauder, I can ask for mo money, cause of all the trinkets. Plus, the stuff just plain looks cool when you display it at a car show along with the car. I've never pushed anyones product before but it seems like the right thing to do in this case. i agree man i felt bad when i saw very little responces to his thread. Sean and i worked a deal on some tires he wanted which i always love swapping parts. im sure this wasnt easy for him to set up so come on ppl buy some lighters! Sean how man have you sold thus far?

I noticed the same thing, and as a friend of Sean's, it sucks to see it happen.

He went above and out of his way to get these made. He worked hard and spent a lot of money to do so. If you requested one, please back up your offer.

I hate to see this happen. I think that others should have been more careful before commiting to a product that they know not the price.

Was I ready to buy one? Sure.

Did I express that publically? No.

Why not? I needed to see the price.

I am sure that these cost a pretty penny to make but this lighter is too rich for my pockets.

I will agree, a lot of us spoke up and said we would take one, cheaper than epay, time to "man up" and live up to your word. Less than a C note, what else could you buy for that (MM collectable wise)?

Heh, even after all the so called security upgrades I went on my flight with my lighter in my pocket Twice! But yeah it was a risk, the situation could have went south real fast.
