I took my car out today and the gas pedal started to make a squeaking sound when turning, going over bump's, or coming to a stop. I also felt a slight bump in the pedal. I took the car to my shop and removed the cowl and wiper motor assembly. (I figured something wasn't put back right after my cam cover install) I checked the cables and there are no kinks and they seem fine. I took the car for a test drive with the cowl and wiper motor removed and the noise was gone.
I put everything together and I have the squeak and its making a popping noise like something is hitting the cable.
My only idea is that when I put the wiper assembly back, the wiper motor hangs down close to the cable's.
My Question for you guy's is, Do the throttle cables run behind the wiper motor along the firewall or do they cross in front of the wiper motor?? I think I have them in front of it which may be whats wrong but I'm not sure!
Thanks for any help.
