if you want a push bumper, buy the crown vic to go with it.

Push bumpers require cutting and knotching the bumper cover and attach to the front frame extensions. While not technically difficult, they can be aggravating to get right. I had to swap a couple of them on and off movie cars (Vics) and could do it in 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

I love it when I see this topic come up. Its a hoot to see how severely polarized the group gets over this mod. Possibly, it is more controversial than twenty-twos on a Marauder.
However, that said: Wesman has done this mod. His car looked pretty good with it.
I'm still waiting for the "Another Cop Wannabee" comments to start coming in. :)

I, personally don't think it looks that great. I think its kind of distracting the "sleeper" effect the Marauder has. Also you have to cut into your bumper. I was seriously thinking of puting one in but for the above reasons I didn't. Infact I have brand new Setina push bar sitting in my garage.

I guess that I wonder why you would want to alter the unique look of a Marauder and have it look like a 1 of 2 MILLION CVPIs.....:dunno:
Buy a CVPI if you want the push bars and spot light...it is a whole lot cheaper than cutting up a Marauder.
There is my :twocents:

See how easy it is to ruffle their sensitive side. It's not a good idea to mention pushbars, spotlights, loudmouth mufflers, wings, lambo doors or 24s in the same sentence with Marauder. Now that you've been warned::welcome:

Oh stop it, I still want to see a big wing on mine, but on his first post he's raping the MM. Isn't there a push bumper that doesn't require the bumper cover to be cut? And does that plate say "wanderer", I always wanted that plate.

Why not just replace the front fascia with a CVPI one and sell the MM fascia to someone that needs one to make a MM clone?

I understand the blacked out sinister appeal you're going for and giving it a push bar will give it an aggressive look, "Like outta my way or be prepared for this!" As you look in the rear mirror and see this terror riding your bumper, but do you really got to hack up these very rare cars?

well thats why i asked if one could be installed, cus i dont want to do any hacking. im hoping to find one that can be bolted right on, or off. and i dont think removing the chrome will really be considered hacking right?

To mount them you have to cut holes in the bumper cover to attach the supports. I suggest you take a look at a patrol car that has them, just not with your face on the hood and your hands behind your back.

to each there own but that pix of the rino push bar on a marauder is really to big the one that the Ontario Provincial Police use here is alot smaller kinda looks like a set of bumper etts IMOP it would look good on any panther car check it out!

There ARE push bars that are mounted without any cutting of the bumper, I have seen them and will try to find one to post to prove it. So while I wouldn't put one on a MM, let alone my Marquis, to each his own.
This one MAY fit.....http://www.swps.com/go-rhino-5040.html

I used the blackout tape as well. It really works well. I just put it on the bits that were still present at the top of the doors after the vents were put in. The cutting of the bumper is one reason I didn't add the push bar. The other is that all of the factory bars are way too obtrusive for my liking. I keep thinking of something similar to what was on the old "Dukes" car. Just a couple of simple small bars. They still serve the purpose, but don't get in your way most of the time.

i have a few of those pushbars laying around the shop, but not only will you have to cut holes in the bumper for the upper supports, the bumpers have a different contour to them, so it won't fit right.but if you really want one i'll look and see if there is any nice ones. we don't even put them on the new patrol cars, because it like saying "go ahead smash into stuff"
