The swear filter is there for a reason...

For the people that cannot curb their habit of swearing on this forum.

We are not in the business to 'customize' the way the filter displays profanity after the fact.

Why is this so hard to comprehend?

Don't swear. No problem.

Simple concept really.

This goes for attachments. Remove the one above or I will.

Mike.

Who are they? I thought it was Lucy and Ricky. Or Fred and Wilma.

Technically, it was Fed and Ethyl Merman of "I Love Lucy."

".....While Lucy and Ricky Ricardo on I LOVE LUCY definitely slept in separate beds, their neighbors Fed and Ethel were actually the first on that show to sleep together in the same bed (well sort of). It seems on the January 17, 1955 episode "First Stop" Ethel and Fred try to
navigate their way through a sagging mattress and consequently are
seen squirming in bed together...."

I beg to differ....

May Kay and Johnny were the first:

"The first TV program to show a husband and wife sharing the same bed on a regular basis occurred in 1947 on the Dumont sitcom MARY KAY AND JOHNNY. TV's first sitcom ever. The program told the tale of a newly married couple living in Greenwich Village. Unfortunately, no copies of the show exist so we must rely on the documented memories of others to prove the point. Later in the 1950s Ozzie and Harriet broke the taboo and were seen in the same bed."

Another one to the post count.

Yeah Ma had been complaining to Pa that each time she went and used the outhouse, she kept snagging her hair on a nail. So Pa checks it out, comes back, tells her he couldn't find "no dern nail", so she drags him out there:
Ma "See it, Pa?"
Pa "No dadblammit, I don't."
Ma "Lean closer to the seat."
Pa "I don't see nary an old nail."
Ma "Lean clooooooser..."
(Ma shoves Pa's head completely thru the seat hole)
Pa "What in tarnation is wrong with you, woman! Owwww, my beards caught on a nail, Ma!"
Ma "See?!?"
(laugh track)

I will try and behave myself as long as no one talks about beheading US Military Personnel, then all bets off.
