So who want's a new hat?

I decided to put this together after seeing a MM hat selling for $325!!:eek:

This is the plan, I want to have the same exact style hat but make it available in all 4 color's of the marauder. Black with silver logo, silver hat with black logo, DTR with silver logo, and DPB with silver logo. They will also feature the word "MARAUDER" on the back of the hat just like the one's available in the catalog.

I just looked at the hat that went for $325 on ebay. I looked in the catalog and I can make that same style hat in ALL FOUR COLORS

Im also looking to get this squared away ASAP! I hope to have a number and option by this Friday so I can put the order in and have them sent out in time before the Carlisle T-shirt thread starts up.

The price will be set once I have a number and design picked out. As alway's the price will be set to absorb shipping cost's and paypal fee's, but still be very reasonably priced.

Based on price I am in for the higher quality hat. What do you think a ballpark price will be? Was the original hat black with White logo and lettering or silver? I had the hat out last night and cant remember, but black with silver sounds awsome!:banana2:

Exactly like the originals.

The original hat had black thread and the silhouette and outside rim were in silver. That could be the same for all four colors, with the color of the hat being the only difference. It looks like they did it in two passes...first the black thread solid circle, then the second pass with the silver detail for the outlines.

For ballpark, Im aiming for $20 for the first hat, $10 each additional hat shipped. That covers all expenses of shipping and paypal cost's. This is just speculation. I don't have a exact price at the moment.

Check the first post of the thread. After seeing the ebay hat up close and looking through the catalog, I can make the same quality hat in all 4 color's.

Im going to get the poll taken down and start a new one to find out how many hat's I should order to put this together.

curious....are these fitted hats, or do they have the adjustment in the back? my head doesn't like the adjustment :P

Paul is starting a new poll in a new thread with these posts copied over. He was able to get high quality hats in all colors, so the new poll will be just about color selection. Paul, remember to allow for multiple choices by members since some may want more than one color.
