Sorry to hear about your accident. How much damage was done?
I tried to get a few MM owners together here a couple of months ago, but everyone was busy at the time. Maybe we can work something out soon. How about an afternoon at the Shelby museum?

I think, anyone coming into town on a specific weekend, should let us here locally know his schedule. We should try to accommodate, since he is here for a short period of time. Just let us know what works for you.

Im down to do whatever, it doesnt have to be over the top...a meet and greet sounds good to me. Its about a seven hour drive so I wouldnt be in town until the afternoon of the 7th and will be leaving the afternoon of the 8th, the only thing I am concerned about is getting the car stolen...so lets try to keep it in a pleasant area because Utah is a long walk!

Now that you bring it up, I don't want to have my car stolen either, do you know something that I don't know? We just need to nail down a specific time and place, I would like to meet some place and remain out by the cars, as opposed to going in doors. A drive-in might be good.

Sorry I don't know any of you guys. But I'll be in Vegas (without my MM - doing the tourist thing!) on March 7/8 so if you have a get together, I'd like to come if that's alright.

I think that any drive in place (Sonic) would be fine. What about March 8th at 9am?>
I will start a new thread

Dates sound good! How about sunset park in the back lot? We can BBQ up some burgers or dogs or something. Or do you guys think it's too complicated.

I'll do what ever the majority agrees on. Obviously, the BBQ thing would take more of a hands-on participation, and could we be as close to the cars as in a drive-in? A little more planning would have to be done with coordination of who's bringing what, and how much. But hey, its all good, everyone coming chime in on this, please.

I'm just happy to be able to hang with some fellow Marauder peeps, so whatever you all want to do is good for me. I should be in town on Saturday afternoon, so if there's anything I can help with just let me know.

I believe that the drive in thing would be good. I was planning on setting up something with a Sonic (or something like that) near the airport and strip, where we would have the run of the place.
If most are interested in Sunset Park, that is cool too. That park is beautiful and a bbq would work out as well too. I would be happy to set up everything either way.
I will contact everyone that showed interest with the final details this week.

In my opinion, if your going to do the "treating", than do what ever works for you the best. I'll follow your lead.

Hey lets get together, I can supply the meat and buns and stuff. There is a spot " I forgot what # but I can reserve it and it's within feet of our cars around grass and bbq's. Let me know! BYOB will help!

My preference when getting together with car people, is to meet at a spot until everyone who is coming has arrived, then do a drive. We can come back to the original place or end up at a new place. That way we can enjoy watching our cars in action. This can be considered as part of the itinerary. Obviously we would add eating to this as well.

Its not a 7 hour drive!!!
My record was 4:45min from SLC. That was only one stop for gas and pee.
Jason you can easliy do it in 4. Just don't stop for UHP or NHP.
