Either your intake tube is loose, MAF unplugged, or the IAC motor is bad.

The IAC is on the Throttle body. It is easy to replace.

Idle air controller; got to be on the upper intake
Mass air flow sensor is upstream from your air box six wires going to it.

IAC might just be dirty. Take it off, spray it down really well with some carb cleaner and replace and see if it fixes the issue.

They make a spray product just for the MAF, be careful not to touch the fine wire that runs through the middle of the opening, (do a google on MAF, picture). Also the fuel filter can be a candidate, when did you change that last. Met a guy this week with the same symptoms, different ford product, hasn't changed his fuel filter in 142,000 miles. 'bout time.
