is anyone running 555's front and rear 235/50/18 and 265/50/18?
I've read all the talk about the 265 size on a stock rim. I've done hours of tire research online like the rest of you. I've done some looking at the Toyo Proxes STII in 255-45-18 and 255-55-18 also. Gimme your opinions, facts, if you notice any road noise from the 555's.

I am running NITTO 555 255/45-18 FRONT TIRES and
NITTO 420 255/55-18 REAR TIRES
they are one of the best tires i ever had i have good grip dry and wet handle good with aggressive driving wear great all around great tires
I dont drive in bad winter weather so i have no info on how the handle snow or ice.
i never had a rubbing issue with 255/45 upfront and the do not stick out the wheel well the are little lower than stock tires

The Nittos grip very well and last a long time, their very quite on the road too, the only down side in my opionion is that they make the car ride harder.

this is also what I have and so far am in favor of repeating it when the time comes for new ones--can't complain......

245 front, 295 rear on widened wheels. Z is correct. They are a very firm sidewall tire, great for turn in, stability and tracking; firm in the ride department. Exactly what I want. The Nitto gals are HOT, also.:D I will buy again. Dennis

No one that I know use's that size. Most Marauder owners will only use up too a 255 on the rear. Some have put the 295's on the rear but it doesn't sit correctly on the rim. Some think their is a safty issue some don't. The 265s are the border line the most have questioned for quiet some time. I'd consider it safe.

I run 555's on my 20's and love them, very smooth great traction. As for that size I dont think anyone is running them.:burnout:

I plan on 245/45/18 front 265/50/18 rear.
FYI I auto-x'd through 22 hot laps with 285/50/18's on the back of my last MM stock wheel width. No issues at all.
