Jolly Roger, you are member #2480.
You can go to the Members List under the "Quick Links" pull down and sort by join date. Roll your cursor over the screennames and you can identify their member number. It will show up in the URL shown in the bottom left of your screen as the last part of the URL. For instance, #4 is missing. So is number #6 and #7. Those probably have been inactive for a long time. Others may be gone "for other reasons".
I am member #1891, February 2004 ...... wow coming up on 5 years.

I know Im member #3499. I remember when that tidbit of info would appear on top.
There might be a faster way. All the member with numbers that low, joined before 6/30/02. Just scroll down the member list pages and note the join date, then cursor over their name for the date as Bluerauder stated.
Here's a couple for you: marsha #9. mikeenh #15.
Maybe members can take a page or two and report back to this thread until you have the list. BTW, DR is #46.
The " Roundup" was the name of the first MVI, in Ennis, Texas. That may give you a clue using the search function.
Something to do on a rainy day.
Good luck

I stopped mowing like that a couple of years ago. Some people wonder why. :o
I started a new affiliation with Fredneck County Maryland chapter of Rednecks for Obama. Gordon (Haggis) is the Co-chairman of the Hagerstown chapter.

Logan #1 still checks in here occasionally. He just popped in about 3 or 4 days ago 1/24/09.
Warren, JWheeler, and #23 chapel1 are still around. I think chapel1 (Post #17 above) is currently the most active of the top 25 "Old Timers".

Number 98 here! Lurked for a while before I bought my MM, registered about 3 weeks later. Actually found my MM because of someone from KY on this site mentioning seeing three at my local dealership. Stopped in to check it out in person, Salesman threw me the keys, took it for a flight down the back roads, came back with a grin that I haven't lost yet!

I came over to MM.net after about 6 months on MMMC. First found out about the Marauder just before the prototype appeared. As soon as the DOHC 4.6 was introduced , I started writing Mercury pleading for that engine in the Grand Marquis. When I first saw the Ford "49er" prototype , I thougt that would be the Marauder body--it would have been a killer car--no such luck. At my age, I don't plan to drive anything but a Marauer until I tear up my driver's license---you guys with the low mileage MMs, save one for me--I have 99,000 on this one--plan to replace it around 150,000---maybe. I've made more friends and enjoyed this car more than just about anything I owned--my 1940 Piper Cub Cruiser (flew it from 1945 til last year) is my favorite. I plan to stay on this site til the last frog croaks--so ----see you around, Maury:burnout:

OK I'm an idiot with the computer. :o I did what Charlie and Pat said, but didn't see any ANYTHING on the bottom left of my screen. :help: I bought my '04 Marauder brand new in Oct. '03. BigDogJim carded me a year or two before I ever got around to joining on 1-19-08. Really late to this party. Sorry to have missed out for so many years, especially since I enjoy it and you all so much. It's particularly upsetting to realize, as Mike Poore reminded us, that the Marauders days are numbered as they age and go to their reward in Valhalla ( My car is a Viking) And with them will go our meets and our members. Please guys........take care of yourselves and your cars! Let's play this out as long as possible. Otherwise I'll have WAY too much time on my hands. LOL

I found this forum in early June of 2002 about 4 weeks before I bought "Smokie" I was not comfortable back then with "talking" online with strangers, all my relationships up to that time had been face to face.
It took about 3 months of "lurking" before I actually felt comfortable enough to join and interact in this new medium, a decision I do not regret because I've had the privilege of meeting face to face many remarkable good people and others that I consider friends and feel close to, that have never met in person.
A bit of trivia, there was a time when in the upper left hand corner of all your posts just below your sig. your member number appeared.

Javier, funny that you mention this because I had a similar experience and initial reluctance. I bought my MM in October 2003 and didn't find MM.Net until Dec 03 or so. I just popped in occasionally as a "Guest" to read and see what was happening.
Merc and Mad 3-R mentioned a gathering in Chantilly, VA in March 2004 with the Northern Virginia Mustang Club (NVMC). It was a real "leap of faith" to jump in the MM and drive about 45 minutes to "meet up" with folks that I had never seen before. Three MMs in a sea of Mustangs. That was the beginning of many more get-togethers. Less than a month later, I drove to Philadelphia for Ray's Annual April "Support the Troops" Car Show at Northeast Lincoln-Mercury. There were 18MMs from all over the area for that one. Can't believe that this ride has been going for 5 years now.
I am still sorry that I missed out on the Marauderville IV experience in Orlando, FL due to illness. I wanted so much to meet you and the rest of the SSM gang in person. Well I at least got the "goodie bag" and the T-Shirts.

Charlie, you and I have always had an affinity of common thought, similar ages, family and experiences over the years. For two guys that never met in person there are a remarkable amount of parallels in our lives and how we view the world.
I have always enjoyed your comments and views and found remarkable how much we have in common, I wish you and your family had been able to make it to Florida for MV4 and had the opportunity to shake your hand, sit back and share a couple of drinks of your favorite beverage.:D

Joined in the summer of 04 when I bought my MM from Prince Frederick Lincoln Mercury. 90K miles later, Diane drives it more than I do now. I still love it... so does she!
Like most of you, we've met some awesome people with common interests. We've been able to get to MVIII, IV and V and many, many CAM meets and one Sunshine State meet at Bradenton, FL. I bought the car and found the site about two weeks before MVII but was still recovering from surgery and couldn't drive (didn't stop me from taking a test drive once I saw the MM).
