The SENCMC will host its 11th Annual All Ford Car and Truck Show on Saturday, October 17th at Capital Ford, Lincoln, Mercury dealership on 5501 Market St in Wilmington, NC. We had 100 cars and trucks last on the show field this year. Capital Ford, Lincoln, Mercury of Wilmington, our sponsor, showcased some of their great cars. We had Brian White with Will FM DJ this year playing your favorite music. We had many door prizes to give out as well as the popular 50/50 raffle with Tom Sawyer taking home $375.00 and Tom Russell with Step Up For Soldiers received the other half as part of our donation to his group. This year promises even more as we expand our show field to accommodate even more cars. This year we will also have a variety of vendors on hand, swap meet, car corral and show and shine only as well as more family games such as last years hit "Pony Races" plus other head to head competition.
Many thanks to Doug Barbour and J.C. Edwards for their support.
Join us this year on October 17th for our 11th Annual Show.

Yeah fastblack, I'll definately take you up on the car washing facilities.
Hey, can you guys start naming off good detailing supplies that I need to make sure I have. I know you've got to be sick of me borrowing stuff.
Engine cleaner - I like the citrus based ones
Engine dressing - I use CD2 engine detailer
Lots of micro fibre towels
Exterior detail spray - I like Turtle Wax Ice product
Interior cleaner - Again Turtle Wax Ice product
Window cleaner - I like to use the Stoner brand
Leather / vinyl cleaner / protectant - I use Meguires
Small brushes - to get in the nooks & crannies
Q-Tips - for the smaller nooks & crannies
As i remember stuff I'll add to the list.

We can meet for dinner & drinks on Friday, then decide on where to meet Saturday morning so we can all arrive together.
Will also have a hose available at my daughters condo on Friday. I'll supply the water you bring what ever else you need. PM me for address.
For those that don't want to get dirty, but get their ride clean, there is a car wash called Buff Masters at 1202 South College Road @ the corner of Wrightsville Ave & College Road. It's a hand wash place that does an excellent job.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend this weekends meet--
Ms. M , while packing Tuesday evening , had a tangle with our dog, him going one way , her the other, and fell in the bedroom and suffered some very hurting bruises on her hips, head , back and shines.
We pushed back our leave hoping things would get better by today--but the incident along with the weather is not better --.She is very sore and stiff and to say sitting is difficult is light to actually being able to achieve.
We are sorry and was looking so forward to meeting our new and old friends.
Our hotel stay , Days Inn was very cordial with helping us by returning our pre-paid stay for three of our four days----holding our first day thinking we could make it down anyway...We so appreciate them working with us. We will stay there again so we can personally say thank you again some day.
So everyone ,please do us good and take home some heavy weights for the group..and some pics too please--for us..

Nope, Russ and I never did get hooked up. Will plan on picking it up at SSHS9.
Here are some photos I took before my camera died.
The CM bunch. L to R: dakslim, 03mmmonroe, me, fastblackmerc.
An old-school Merc, as in "they don't make that way anymore, do they?"
Wiener Dog races! BTW, over a 100 of the little ankle biters showed up, they had elimination heats, 1/4 and semi-finals, a regular "Pinks All-Out." ;)

Nonsense! All you need is a little bling, and for that you just need to spend a little time with the "Bling King" himself: http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/images/smilies/worship.gif
You know his motto: "if it don't go, chrome it." -------->;) ------->:D
