I got my rims from Zack (thanx)
it is very cold out and before I try put them on has anyone put
MM rims on 69-70 Marauders or Marquis?
I know the bolt pattern is the same,But is back spacing and fender skirts
a big deal?

I don't think it going to work. Offset all wrong..

Very few old cars can accept the newer cars offset. It's like a front wheel drive offset.

Yeah, not certain that it will work, but would be interesting to see how the newer wheels and tires look on your X-100.

Yeah- let's see the photoshop.
They might mount, but I'd bet that steering more than a few degrees would be a challenge.

hadamustang - I don't think it going to work. Offset all wrong..
Very doable with hub-concentric wheel adapters / spacers.
While not a "69 x-100" ..... *1985 LTD - the offset should be the same as a 1969.

yeah, the backspacing will put the kibosh on it...but spacers might do the trick.

is there any rules to follow on spacers???
is there a stress limit if it needs a lot??
can you show the photoshop?

MercRS - is there any rules to follow on spacers???
No set rules, however ...
- buy quality adapters / spacers.
- the Panther rims will need hub concentric adapters / spacers. Reason - The hub is used to center the wheel rather than the lugs/nuts.
is there a stress limit if it needs a lot??
Don't know of any quantitative study, however, wouldn't recommend over 1¾" - 2".
NOTE: Have used adapters for decades on a variety of FoMoCo platforms with no problems nor ill effects.

OK factory should be a 4 1/4 backspacing on a 15 stock wheel what would the spacer size need to be for the stock 03 Rims?
Not sure how to do this.
I got rims thanks
those spares I would have jumped on them If I knew.
