I come on this site daily just reading stuff trying to expand on what little knowledge i have, but there is just so much i can do with this car i didnt even fully understand when i bought it....I know i'm going with K&N as far as CAI's n such...n trilogy seems to be the choice for SC, but this "tune" i keep seeing in posts leaves me a little confused...I tried searching it but came up empty...i'm assuming its this sct flash monitor has something to do with it...

my ?'s are if i plug this in can i "tune" it myself or do i need a professional? when should i "tune" example after every mod? (CAI or SC)

i know some of y'all are like wtf but be easy on me...i'll learn eventually:coolman:

You should start with a custom tune to wake that car up like a Reinhart tune. And yes after any major work have it changed up a bit. Stick with XCAL and find a tuner.

If you purchase a Trilogy it will come with a tune included. Hope this answer your question. Stay away from superchips, they are very limitted in there program and you can only change shift points and firmness, and gear changes.

if you can find a local dyno shop or performance shop they usually can tune the car for you. PM Zack and he will explain a lot more of how it all works to you. He does tuning himself.

If you want to come up to Mass, outlaw tunning does a fantastic job. A lot of us NE members can help you find some tuners around here....

Lidio also sells the SCT XCAL2 with 3 tunes for your car on it. You plug it in under the dashboard into the OBD2 plug, and do what the screen on the XCal says to do. Takes about 3.5 minutes!

I have not delt with Dez personally, but I have heard good and bad. KB-Marauder-s, aka Boston Mike, used him. Took him about 4 tries to get it right, but Mike is driving a mean Kenny Brown too. Outlaw pulled 445rwhp safely out of Raudermasters NOIC supercharger.... which is unheard of.

Just ask the New England guys where to go. They know a lot more than just me lol
