Does anyone here run a pretty decent shot? Like a 125-150? What are your times. I'm thinking once I get done with a few more things I may strap a bottle in this beast.

I used to run a 100 shot wet Zex with traction controller set to 3200 RPM (or thereabouts, don't remember now) and my times were in the low to mid 13's.

but I also have 4:10's and a 3500 RPM stall converter, those are big ticket but big help items.

Lots of fun on the track, but too small a town for street use. Big city boulevards would be OK.

I ran a 125 wet shot with 4.10 gears, CAI and stock tires to a 12.6. Stock exhaust and torque converter.

Pat,

Did you take out the zex kit since you went supercharged?

Mike, (SID210SA)

No, but it's reduced to a 50 shot for two purposes, a little power and cooling of the air charge from the supercharger.

I notice it coming on but not near as much as the 100 shot.

I ran a zex 125 dry kit and ran 12.8's, that was with a lot of bolt ons, stock converter, 373's, exhaust work and MT drag radials

Its reliable with a good tune and not to big of a shot, I wouldn't go any bigger than a 125 shot on a stock engine.

zex 150 wet shot set to come in at 3200 and shut down at 6500 with zex window switch and recommended timing removed per zex. this is on a cobra long block with eaton. AFR was about 10.5:1 very safe, more power could be had by tweeking the jets.

Its beast to say the least. 1.44 60's and of coarse the quickest rauder on the forums.:D

It took .7 off the time and added 6mph.

if its a 03 04 cobra they have differnt bottom end. i believe, my engine is still stock with bolt ons +i dont think mm comes forged, my dad has a old school rule no forged and moly no nitrous, but i still wants to try it on the marauder just dont want to have to replace the engine in 20k miles. thanks

It just turned 30,000
the spray has been on for approx. 10,000 mi.
i have the S C T. tune from D.R. .I spray before the M.A.F. With the methanol
and spray the comp. gets a very cold reading and adjusts.
I am on my fifth bottle. I would not recommend my set up for anybody else,
this was a plate system i converted from my 68 Road Runner after much
experimenting with nozzle sizing and reading the plugs.
This is the greatest pain reliever i`v ever found!!! just take it out and
hammer it. Just remember I break it I own it "Seven years this July"
Wish you luck , just take small steps and never change anything until your
sure what the last change has accomplished .. BEST CAR I HAVE EVER HAD..

I have the D.R. SCT tune as well as the diablosportchip with three settings, denso plugs,180 stat, cold air kit , addco swaybar, 4/10s. this is my own set up cobbled together from a plate system from my 68 Road Runnner . If you go with spray start with the small nozzles and work your way up . I have found it hits too hard if under 2800 r.p.m. and cooks the tires remember to read the plugs , and i always run the fuel side rich and let the e.c.u. make the adjustments. good luck!.
