It would help if you told us what you are trying to do. We can't read minds....

If you are trying to install a new headunit you should get an adapter that will connect the headunit to the OEM harrness.

I know this isn't the awnser to Bob's question but this statment is incorrect. Do some research on speaker Phasing (http://blog.sounddomain.com/gadget/2008/02/check-yourself.html) and you will see that speakers do have positive and negative polarity. And having them hooked up improperly will hurt sound quality and sometimes(very rare but hurt the amp or headunit powering them).

There are Phase testers (http://www.phase-it.com/) available John might have more info on where to obtain others.

For household speakers but the theroy is the same^^^^
As for which wire is which I do not know, but when the stereo shop I go to locally hooked up my speakers he used a "pop" phase tester to install them.

LR speaker - GY/LB (+) & TN/LE (-)
LF speaker - OG/LG (+) & LB/WH (-)

RR speaker - OG/RD (+) & BN/PK (-)
RR speaker - WH/LG (+) & DG/OG (-)

Save yourself some time and get OEM to aftermarket speaker connectors. Gt mine at Best Buy. Pop's Stereo can get them for you too.

FWIW, Circuit City stores maybe closing out on Metra kits. Wire harnesses for speakers, factory radio, factory harness connection, face plates. 40% off.
