Up for grabs is a great 10 Inch custom built torque converter used for 4,000 miles before i decided go a different route and get a different transmission and converter , 10 Inch 3200RPM Stall works with a Ford 4R70W Transmission, which is used in alot of applications including Ford 4.6L Mustangs,Thunderbirds, Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, F150's, and alot of other fords equippeded with a 4.6L. Also works with AODE Transmissions. Torque converter worked awsome and does wonders for 1/4 times and is an all out awsome converter and feels like a totaly stock converter untill u stomp the gas pedal. Pretty much brand new with only 4,000 miles, this converter sells for $650 brand new, i bought it brand new from dirtydogperformance.
Heres the highlights of this converter, info and pics are from dirtydogperformance.
Reinforced front cover with 30 square inches of high carbon graphite clutch lining
Furnace brazed pump.
Aluminum stator with Torrington bearings
Furnace brazed Turbine.
Precision finished lockup piston.
Weighs only 36LBS for less rotating mass and more performance/
Ballon Plate to handle extended high rpms.
Computer Balanced.
Drain Plug for easy fluid changing.
3200RPM Stall speed.
I had this installed in my 99 Ford Crown Victoria and i loved it, i think it took of around .3-.4 tenths of a second on the quater mile alone.
Actual pic of converter i am selling.
