No, seriously. I want to know. So's I can beat them about the head, neck, and upper shoulder area.

Saw it at the last second, clipped it just enough so's it didn't fly up into the car and do real damage.

The other half prolly ended up in someone's windshield.

Shame, though, but lucky there was no more damage. Just think about that hunk of stuff underneath your MM.

Yeah, it angers me. But a few years back the original rims and tires went in the shed with about 24 thousand miles on them, they are still puuuurty. (the rims, the tires are shot, lol) Guess I'll be getting the new fronts and an alignment a little sooner than I wanted to. :(

Nope, it actually spun around and ended up off the shoulder. I took one for the team I guess. Boy was it loud, even tho I knew it was coming. Poor car, I think I'll show it some love and vaccuum it tomorrow.

That is totally lame...some A-hole dropping cinder blocks screws up your MM rim....:mad2:

Sorry to see the result.

I had the same misfortune with my 85 Mustang GT.
Some jerkoff put a chunk of cinderblock in a brown paper bag and placed it around a sharp curve in the road.
I saw it as I came around the bend, but couldn't swerve in time to avoid the "paper bag".
I figured: "No big deal...it's only a paper bag."
WRONG!
BANG!!
It trashed my 10 hole aluminum rim and cut a 'window' in my Gatorback's sidewall.....:mad2:

Well they'll love the one in my front bumper then. The one that's shaped perfectly like the head of a 5/8th inch bolt. Friggin semi's kicking up crap...

That's grounds for a beat down. I wonder if they were hiding and filming it.

I had to stop to put on my spare tire, and believe me...I was scoping out the entire area looking for the punks!

The insurance agent almost fainted when he checked the cost of a new aluminum rim and a Goodyear Gatorback.

Sorry Casey, I was running with the ciderblocks in my trunk, and well....

See when the I was driving on the highway I heard a loud banging noise. I figured it was justbob making noise in my trunk, since it was dark and he was all tied up.

I then see cinderblocks flying and realized he had untied himself and was throwing them out....

Im sorry I should really keep my MM.net members under better control. Sorry this will not happen again.

I called them clowns a couple years back when a gravel truck was spreading mayhem on I-64, rocks punched out TWO of the four headlights on the 'vette AND fragged my windshield. I got beside the guy and wrote down the name of the trucking company then swerved at him a few times (like I was going to win that fight) and flipped him off. Repeatedly. He dove towards an offramp and I couldn't brake fast enough to make it. VDOT said too bad, call highway patol, so I did. They told me to eat it unless his vehicle actually struck mine. Searched for the company, no dice. I would post the name of it, but vengeance shall be mine when I find it, and I don't want to incriminate myself more than I have. I can forgive, but I don't forget.

HA, HA, HA ..... VDOT ---- what a joke. They couldn't find their azz with both hands. Don't waste the call. :P That's the same organization that made I-64 concave so that the rainwater would puddle 6 inches deep in the middle of the highway. They had to rip out and replace several miles of new road. Incompetent idiots. Of course, I don't have any strong opinions about this.

The Hampton, VA area must be h3LL for debris on the highway ... especially I-64. That is where I almost encountered a rock that some lame guy had used as a chock for his POS pick-up truck on a trailer. Dayum rock bounced down the highway at 65 MPH in the right lane. It was hopping 6 feet high in places. Luck was with me and I passed it in the left lane. Cars every which way behind me trying to avoid it. I was lucky.

Here's the story from August 2008 >>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=46882&highlight=bouncing

Sorry to hear it man,but be glad you didn't hit it on a motorcycle, you probably wouldn't be here now.
And here I thought justbob only hid in birthday cakes, lol.Somebody must have told him there were free hot dogs in the trunk.
As an aside I just got back from Hawaii last month and my son and I went out off Oahu on one of the tour submarines off Waikiki,we saw cinder blocks all over the bottom out there, wtf gives with that?

CBT,
So sorry to hear of your road 'rash' problem, seriously. That really bites.
My wife ran over a dead deer on I-495 at 4:30am just before Amer Legion Bridge on MD side a few years back. She managed to straddle the carcass with our Blue MM. She scared the bejeepers out of me waking me from my snooze! Now I drive the I-495 Beltway going to and come from NMB, SC. You should have seen the Honda Civic disabled on the left shoulder -- the wheels appeared to be OK, but NOT the frontend.
In a lighter vane, would some of that reliable Zaino stuff buff out those scratches in your wheel? LOL!

I had a nice scare on Friday in the HOV lane on I95 South. I tried to dodge a ladder in the road, but still caught it with my right front tire... Scary when your doing 78 in the fast lane... I was absolutely amazed that I didn't get a flat tire, but my alignment is all jacked now, so I gotta get it up on a lift tomorrow morning and check it all out :(

This ^^^^ is getting to be a real problem on I-95 in Northern Virginia. This is the 4th or 5th incident of ladders in the road on I-95 in the past year or so. Some of them have caused really bad wrecks. One involved about 4 cars and a semi-trailer --- people trying to avoid ladders falling off of work trucks. I have gotten to the point where I won't run behind one because it looks like the stuff has just been thrown onto the pick-up or van and hasn't been secured at all. Dayum rolling hazards on the highway.

^^^I know it's insane... The truck who dropped it just kept rolling, and the car in front of me caught it with all four tires, while I almost got around it by going onto the shoulder. We both pulled over and neither of us got his license plate. His car had two flats so I feel very lucky!
