Does anyone have any idea if the 2003 rebates ($3500) will be continued into October?
I have a 10/1 closing on a RE deal that will give me the $$ to purchase my MM. I have found a silver/lt flint '03 out of state (NY) and was hoping that the $3500 rebate will be continued.
Thanks in advance,
Neal

They've been saying the rebate ends "at the end of the month" since the rebate started, but i guess it will end eventually

oh, there is also the AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) discount of $500. Some one here joined the AQHA just to get it

Just ran an OASIS on the VIN on the above car, date of manufacure is 7/15/02! Holy cow, it's 14 months old already. I'll bet they'll give that car away even if the reserve isn't met.

So here we are a at 12:14 AM EST and all rebates ('03 & '04) are MIA at mercury web site. I spoke with the Marketing dept earlier today and they had no info on what rebates would be in place as of 10/1/03. They did "suggest" that the rebates on the '03 might actually increase!
We will see in the AM. They promised to call me at 8AM with the latest rebates.

Marketing dept said they would call at 8AM and they did. '03 rebates are now $4000 thru 12/1. All sorts of low apr deals also. Web site is not updated yet.

Neal,
If you're still interested in the one here in the 'nam, let me know. The LM sales manager said he was about to sell it to the Ford dealership across town. I guess they like setting on cars for months...

I think I just snagged it. The rebates went up to 4K.
I went to a local (NY) dealer and drove their remaining '03. A demo with 8500 miles. They wanted INVOICE! for a 300a with 8500 miles. I had no interest in buying it but it sure did ride nice.
Oh look the purchase contract just popped off my fax machine. I AM PYSCHED!!!

rebates stayed the same. the $4000 includes the AARP $500 rebate. Don't forget $500 loyalty and $750 military rebate which can be stacked. the difference between the 03 and 04 rebate is $1000 less on the 04.

invoice was 32K and change.
The rebate for 2003 was increased to 4000. AARP and Military are each 500 additional, if you qualify. the only loyalty rebate is if you lease or finance. Nothing extra for cash customers.
If you live on LI and are looking I think that North Shore LM had a demo with only 3K miles. They had someone coming to look so I do not know if it is still availabe.

They have to be crazy putting that many miles on a car while trying to sell it!! Not even titled as yet--it's not "NEW" at this point-don't they get the picture --or do we need to tell them who can develope it?!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........Tom
