Last weekend was nice weather, so I painted the front Baer calipers on the MM. Beautiful black epoxy paint - they look great (nope - only painted the front ones, as they are part of the KB package).

Now I have a whole-black caliper. Anybody know where I can get a small quantity of high-heat brush on epoxy paint (via mail/UPS/FedEx/etc.) so I can paint in the logos?

Yeah - this is the kit I got to paint the calipers black. I just need another can of the epoxy paint for the logos, but the company won't sell just the can o'paint and the activator. I have to buy the can of brake cleaner as well.

That's too bad.

Since I'm planning on painting my stock calipers black or silver this spring, do you think I can do all four with one kit or should I buy two?

After doing it, I think the aerosol is better than the brush. I brushed the calipers, and then masked-and-spray-painted the logo, so I've got experience with both forms. The aerosol covers better and more evenly, which I didn't find with the brush-on. I suppose brake cleaner can be found anywhere.

The instructions only say to clean the the calipers with brake cleaner, and then brush the paint on. It doesn't say to rough up the surface, so I'm wondering how long it'll stick. Time will tell, I guess.
